Saber C is the lifelong dream of owners Glen and Tammy Clubb. Tammy is a sign language interpreter and Glen is a career Soldier -- together they’ve wanted a place to remind folks that God provides a way to find peace from the daily struggle. After 15 years of searching they found such a spot.

In 2014 they purchased 160 acres in the Ozark Mountains of NW Arkansas. Bordering the Ozark National Forest, the terrain is as varied as life itself -- high, low, flat, steep, rocky and wooded. One day it will offer lodging, a crafting shop, trap and skeet fields, repelling tower, hiking/bike trails, family fishing pond and a mountaintop setting for open air events like weddings, family reunions and business gatherings. All infrastructure and every activity is designed to support the unique needs of wounded warriors and the disabled -- but not in an overt, clinically sterile way. When complete, families with and without disabilities should be able to equally enjoy the retreat.

Starting with little more than trail roads and a wooden deck, development proceeds as funds become available. Go to the Saber C facebook page to see what they've done so far … 'like' the page to stay up to date on retreat development.

The Clubb's want to thank the many individuals, families and organizations whose support continue to make this dream a reality.
