Long known for their ability to reduce anxiety and stress, weighted blankets are now being used to treat insomnia. The blankets' evenly distributed pressure comes from pellets that are sewn into the lining. Machine washable and travel ready, those that have a weighted blanket often refuse to sleep without it.

Our standard 42" x 72" blanket size is just right for most adults. A 10 lb blanket costs about $175, and a 20 lb blanket costs about $200 (plus shipping). The main cost variable is the fabric choice.
